If you are a job seeker looking for work, your local Southeast Tennessee Career Center is the place to start! Use the Resource Room The Resource Room is equipped with state of the art computers for self-service but staff assistance is available for resume development and basic computer instruction. Access the internet for job search activities, use tutorials, research labor market information and newspapers plus more! The Resource Rooms provide a wealth of job search information in one convenient location. Customized Employment Employment services are available to individuals with significant disabilities through the Tennessee Customized Employment Partnership (TCEP) at the Career Center in Chattanooga. Groups targeted for these services are youth who are making the transition from schools and individuals awaiting services or who are presently being served in sheltered workshops and desire employment in the community. Services and employment supports include: self-determination and advocacy, person-centered planning, work-based experiences, job development, job carving, job coaching and accessible computer technology. Accessible Computer Technology Accessible computer technology is available to assist persons with disabilities in their job search activities in the career centers in Chattanooga, Athens, Cleveland, Dayton, Dunlap, and Kimball.
