Job search and information on training services are available to all veterans at each American Job Center .
Additional service may be available if you meet one or more of the following:
- A special disabled or disabled veteran; Special disabled and disabled veterans are those who are:
---entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation: under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans’ Affairs; or,
---were discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability; - Homeless, as defined in Section 103(a) of the Stewart B. McKinney Homeless Assistance Act;
- A recently-separated service member, (Within 3 years of End of Active Service) who at any point in the previous 12 months has been unemployed for 27 or more consecutive weeks;
- An offender, who has been released from incarceration within the last 12 months;
- In need of a high school diploma or equivalent certificate;
- Low-income as defined by the State;
- Between the ages of 18—24
