Job search and information on training services are available to all  veterans at each American Job Center.

Additional service may be available if you meet one or more of the following: 

  • A special disabled or disabled veteran; Special disabled and disabled veterans are those who are:
    ---entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation: under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans’ Affairs; or,
    ---were discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability;
  • Homeless, as defined in Section 103(a) of the Stewart B. McKinney Homeless Assistance Act;
  • A recently-separated service member, (Within 3 years of End of Active Service) who at any point in the previous 12 months has been unemployed for 27 or more consecutive weeks;
  • An offender, who has been released from incarceration within the last 12 months;
  • In need of a high school diploma or equivalent certificate;
  • Low-income as defined by the State;
  • Between the ages of 18—24
